Description
Bradley Thomas Turner - Haunted House Party
One part surf rock, one part retro film score, one part sound effects record: This is Bradley Thomas Turner’s recipe for a perfect Halloween party soundtrack.
Haunted House Party plays like a walking tour through the All Hallow’s Eve soiree of your dreams (or is it nightmares?). This record will make you feel like you’re in an episode of Scooby-Doo, but this time … the monsters are real.
"The Sound Effects Department of the Bradley Thomas Turner Studio has been collecting and studying spooky sounds for several decades. Some years ago, Bradley Thomas Turner himself was contacted by the representative for a “wealthy patron of the arts” who commissioned the composer to create music for a highly exclusive Halloween party (in exchange for a handsome sum, of course). Little is known about the events that followed as the composer has refused to comment on the situation, although many observers have noted an unmistakable look of outright fear in the composer’s eyes when the topic is broached. What follows is alleged to be the only surviving evidence of the aforementioned party—an illegally obtained audio recording captured by an uninvited nogoodnik who attended the event surreptitiously."
